Our technicians begin by cleaning the damaged area, discarding loose shards, and prepping the area for the resin to mend any chipped glass. The damaged area is placed under a vacuum to remove any air trapped inside the chip. Then a resin is injected into the damaged area, with the repair staying on the top layer of glass. Once the mending process is complete, the repaired surface is left to solidify under a UV light to seal the glass repair into place.
While some auto glasses are laminated, others are tempered; If your auto glass can be repaired, Serviceking Nigeria does so by filling it with optically matched resin, which removes the air from the cracks. This technique will both prevent the break from spreading further and improve the overall appearance of the glass itself.
